Overall Satisfaction with Dataloader.io
We use this utility with some clients to aid in data loads, exports, and updates. This is used by various staff as a utility in the place of Salesforce Dataloader. This application is very intuitive and aids with data mapping as well as a historical view of work completed in the Salesforce org for exports, inserts, updates.
- Data mapping
- Links to download exports including successful or failed imports/updates.
- Rerunning previous jobs
- Tracking history of tasks completed in the Salesforce org.
- Progress bar indicator would be helpful.
- Options for quickly switching between salesforce orgs.
- Increase monthly limits for free edition.
- Doesn't require installation of any tools.
- Run from web browser
- Mobile friendly
- Free for small jobs and as usage goes up, they have business plans to meet client needs.
Salesforce has a utility that can be installed locally on your system for data loading as well. It has a similar UI but I find that query building and tracking tasks completed with the tool are lacking. Dataloader shares history and is more intuitive for helping build queries with point and click.
