Overall Satisfaction with DISCO
We use DISCO to manage both the review and creation of document productions. It allows us to carefully and efficiently manage the documents we need to produce and seamlessly review and organize the documents we receive. Additionally, we are able to search and find the exact documents we are looking for without wasting time searching.
- Searching for documents in DISCO is easier than any other platform I've used.
- The user interface is amazing. Spending hours reviewing documents, this really matters. The color contrast in the system is visually appealing.
- The amount of relevant content displayed while reviewing without having to scroll is key!
- The ease of use and intuitive nature of the software cuts down on training time.
- The self service functions and configurations in the system allow for greater flexibility within the software.
- Creating a note on a document in a specific place so that users can collaborate and remember where the issue was in a 100-page document.
- Separating documents within the document for ease of reviewing when documents are produced in one file.
- Greater visibility into billing details.
- Ease of use and decrease in time spent training users. Our users are able to easily jump into the platform and start reviewing without much training.
- Search functions allow us to easily target key documents and find exactly what we are looking for.
- Ability to configure the system internally without paying professional services fees has cut down on costs to the client.
Do-it-yourself approach - we can upload, delete, create a production, create exhibit sets, without assistance!
Search term reports - the ability to take search terms and analyze the results as part of ECA is key to identifying the resources we will need.
Native Excel viewer - the ability to review Excel within the platform saves time and makes it easier to maintain client files.

The value of DISCO is clear, but the pricing is not. While the cost per GB is a flat-rate and predictable, the monthly minimums and fees for some support were less clear. There was no distinction between the different types of support at the outset but that has been remedied.
Uploading speeds are pretty good but just depends on the complexity of the files. The speed and ease of upload has greatly improved in the past three months. The ease of producing documents is unmatched. Our users can do this on their own with little training and support from our team.
We have not had to use very many services but the support and service of the new client success team has been amazing. They are always there to answer questions or find the answers for you. They are a great resource that was needed and it's refreshing that DISCO has invested in client success.
The Nextpoint price point is appealing and gives great flexibility to cases with a high volume of GBs but they are far behind in the ease of searching files within the platform and ability to organize files. The user interface of DISCO far exceeds in functionality, ease of use, and general workability.
