Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use for storing files and images that are shared between our organization as well as external companies that we work with. The main problem that is being solved is organizational and having enough storage space for all of the various documents and even having multiple iterations of the same document in case older versions are needed.
- Large capacity for storing files
- Tagging capability for finding files in various locations
- Folder organization
- Color Coordination
- I also don't like the update where you can see different files in the folder instead of the folder icon because it looks visually messier, I'd prefer this feature to be optional/hidden and revealed when you hover over a folder
- Being able to hide or lock folders that may be within a shared folder from access
- Positively impacted productivity as saving files directly to Dropbox cloud storage instead of the local storage
- Positively impacted workflow and sharing between employees and agencies
- Positively impacted workflow for getting more tasks completed
I think Dropbox is more user friendly and has more capabilities than Google Drive or other cloud storage services
