Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

Easy online signing of documents with the minimum actions needed from recipients.
  • The way box field are done. as will as edits if needed before sending for signature.
  • It would be nice to have counted for various boxes, so an initiator would not accidentally put some random field in the document. Good that now they highlight those fields.
  • Time Saving.
  • Paper waste reduction.
  • Also, the option to notify all interested parties of the completed document, and they will also have access to a document.
Simple and user-friendly interface. I don't think any special training is needed there. All features are self-explanatory.
Hard to say re API, as haven't been using that, but templates work just fine.
Cost and interface were the main factors, as well as DocuSign has issue with IRS tax forms deleting all the prefilled fields upon upload.

Yes

Did Dropbox Sign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Did implementation of Dropbox Sign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox Sign again?

Yes

Pretty much everywhere the signatures are needed. A good part when compared to DocuSign is when I send various prefilled tax forms, DropBoxSign doesn't clean prefilled fields, that was one of the main factors to choose them over others.

Using Dropbox Sign

4 - The paid version is used only by me; I believe the rest of the team uses the free version as they usually don't have docs to be signed.
  • Contracts.
  • NDAs.
  • Equipment release forms.
  • Notification for the interested parties on the document progress.
  • Might look into integration.

Unlikely, unless the price goes up, then we will look into alternative options.
