Overall Satisfaction with Emburse Chrome River

Emburse Chrome River is used for both T&E and a purchasing card for our US/Canada associates. It addresses all visibility to credit card purchases for the company.

The system is very intuitive, and once employees are properly trained on the systems, not many users have issues or problems. Most issues that do arise are from the users not being in compliance with the system or policies. Training employees on the systems prove to be the most effective and time-saving.
A previous system that we used was from the bank that issued the credit cards. We did not use the system to its capacity and with one tool. Chrome River already being used for the T&E, the company felt it would be beneficial to integrate Chrome River for consistency.
Opening a ticket can sometimes take a while, however, all issues are addressed and resolved. The administrator does not have full control and this allows Chrome River to make any necessary changes that do not affect any other functions of the system. The reporting is fantastic and is very valuable.
Ease of auditing. Employee reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. Works well with other financial systems in place. Ease of use.

2 - Both associates are trained to audit Expense Reports within Chrome River. There is one lead associate who manages the relationship with Chrome river to open any tickets on issues. Both associate work within Finance and are very familiar the the companies policies, and enforce them to be in compliance with expense reports.

Ease of use of the product. Very user friendly. Users are familiar with the processes. Ease of auditing, submitting reports and requesting cash reimbursements. The last two upgrades have been very useful for the user, with the e-wallet feature and brining in Amazon receipts that attach directly to the credit card transaction.

Evaluating Emburse Chrome River and Competitors

Yes - Chrome river replaced the Mastercard platform and we were able to merge both company credit cards into one program. This has been a time saver for the credit card holder as they can submit one report for both credit cards.
