Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I manage our members donations, contact information, run reports, print out donation acknowledgements. Using EA saves time with generating the thank you letters, makes managing incoming donations seamless and keeping track of donors contributions, any changes to their donation status, etc. It's also a great way of being able to follow up with members, making notes of any changes and provides space where I can note 1-1 conversations I've had, so that the next time I speak with a donor I can continue where I left off. This really personalizes my interactions with our donors.

Pros and Cons

Pros

End user experience is quite transparent - other db's are WAY more cluncky and not designed specifically for my work in the non-profit realm.
Running reports are seamless
Layout of workspace is clean and efficient
FAQs well organized and easy to follow

Cons

Relationship between primary record and attributed contributions is messy when trying to figure out if thank you letter has been generated. Attributed record should, when activated, supercede primary record.
SmartSearch isn't always as smart as it claims to be

Return on Investment

Saved me dozens of hours by having a really GREAT acknowledgement letter generator

Salesforce Lightning Platform

Even trying to find the appropriate Salesforce product was stressful and anxiety inducing ..... SF trying to hard to diversify and bandaiding a clunky dinosaur. EveryAction is SO much easier to navigate and training tools relevant and well constructed
