Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

We are a private K12 school. On mornings with clear weather emergencies, families know to check the school closing listings. But once in a while there is a need to be closed that affects only our campus (eg loss of electricity and heat) -- and to inform families of such a problem, we use EZ-Texting.
  • It's easy to upload our database of current parent/student cell phone numbers. This means that our list of users is always up-to-date.
  • It's easy to provide access to send alerts from multiple phones and/or the web. It would be nice if more were allowed, but three plus web access is (hopefully) sufficient.
  • It would be nice if we could allow any of our professional staff cell phone numbers (12 separate numbers) to use a keyword to send an emergency text. The present limit is three separate phones.
  • It would be nice (if possible) to turn off / refuse incoming text message replies.
  • When we can inform folks of a problem in service in a timely way, we like to think that we keep them happy. Or happier, anyway.
We only use it for one reason: One-way communication with current customers, informing them of an emergency closing of the school. We don't use it much (which is nice). EZ Texting works well for that -- we don't use it for marketing, so cannot give an educated evaluation on that.
