Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

GiveSmart is the platform that captures our online donor activity. It allows users to make credit card and paypal donations directly to us. Users are able to designate their donation as well as leave notes for memorial gifts. The back end of the site allows for quick reporting and custom donor detail.

  • There are not a lot of bells and whistles
  • We are able to track our online giving year to year
  • The reporting makes it easy to track giving associated with Keywords
There is an easy to navigate tool bar on the left-hand side that leaves plenty of room on the main page to see raw data. Data is also collected in real time and can be included in reporting immediately after the donation is made.
There are a lot of options for getting support. The site offers frequently asked questions and the answers to those. Plus there is an opportunity to call for an immediate response. There is even an opportunity for emergency (weekend or after hours) support that is available. Although I have never had to use that feature.
This would be more an opportunity for our Marketing and Communications team. Not something that myself in the Finance department can attest to.
We have not used these add on services.

This is a basic webservice that suits our non profit needs. There is no max amount of users, which is a nice feature. My whole team has access and can download the customizable reporting. Customer support is readily available, if you find yourself in need of having any questions answered.
