Overall Satisfaction with Gong

Gong helps me onboard and ramp reps more easily than ever. Instead of having them coordinate live calls that might get rescheduled or not go according to plan, reps can look at calls whenever they find time. I can tag them and categorize them into libraries so not only ramping reps but tenured reps can find stellar examples in each function.

As a manager I can also go back and listen to calls I am not able to attend in real time, and I can have my reps go back to self assess themselves and learn immediately how to improve.

  • Their forecast function is new and I can't wait to see how they build it out entirely
  • Save time ramping my reps as they can go in at any time to listen to calls- they don't need me to be present, they don't have to coordinate live schedules etc.
  • Increased revenue from coaching received being able to watch my Gong calls at night or between calls instead of having to be there live all the time previously which isn't always possible with a full team
There are a TON of useful features- mostly are intuitive and if not, they have a comprehensive library/support section. I completed the entire 15 hour training course on top of that, but finding information you don't know isn't always the easiest with their library or support section.
Yes- Gong Trackers help us identify when deals are single threaded, don't have next steps, or are missing other critical and flagged information needed to propel a deal forward. It saves us a ton of time from having to ask the reps the same questions over and over, as reps can notice the flags and aim to correct before our 1:1s.
Using trackers we are able to compile competitive analysis to stay head to head with our competition. Our Product and Marketing Managers are constantly scanning these to see how we can pull ahead from a product offering or ensuring we are marketing properly how we do things even better.

Gong is well suited for large sales teams that are self sufficient- teams that want to learn and grow and will log in to listen to one another's calls to learn and grow.

Gong might not be well suited for organizations that are not looking to improve.
