Easiness for team and/or remote work!
Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets
we use Google Sheets for most of our internal docs ( reports) which require a "sheets" format. It has solved a few very important problems: - formating- we can all now [easily] use the same format by creating templates which makes managing work a lot easier. -updates & versions- it saves the chaos and confusion of versions and attachments. - commenting- it makes team collaboration a lot easier through comments!
Pros
- live update- no saving required
- comments- it allows team work in a very easy & effective way
- unique version- sharing a doc in real time means no confusions with final versions!
Cons
- formatting- could allow some more options taking it from Microsoft Excel
- views- it'd be great to be able to have different views of the sheet, just clicking a button ( graphics, charts, etc)
- comments- it could be improved if a report of comments could be exported for each document ( to keep a record)
- Team work easiness = happines = less stress
- live updates = NO CONFUSION = no searching for versions
- negative: some more tutorials ( from google) in a video format would have made the transition easier for my team
clearly a win-win situation by using Google sheets, [especially] for remote work and teamwork! Microsoft Excel does not allow any of that unless you have a pay version of it.
