Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting
GoToMeeting is a cloud-based communication service. In my organization, it has been used to facilitate meetings with employees and clients. GoToMeeting has also been used to facilitate training sessions and product demonstrations. Without GoToMeeting, my company would not have achieved the increased level of sales and efficiency it is currently experiencing.
- Because it is cloud-based it can be used on most, if not all, operating systems.
- Recording and sharing meetings
- If I had a fault with GoToMeeting, it would be the pricing model. Maybe something like a pay-and-use model for a company like mine that doesn't use it daily or all year.
- GoToMeeting has saved my company lots of time and money (savings in telephony and travel expenses).
- Although I have achieved some savings, it is a bit costly.
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync), Zoom and Google Hangouts
GoToMeeting, in my opinion, sets the standard for these other services regarding ease of use and availability across various operating systems. However, if high-quality video conferencing, whiteboarding isn't a necessity then GoToMeeting is not for you.
