Overall Satisfaction with Groove

I used Groove to create flows (cadences), send out emails, make calls, and compare the efficacy of my script. This is primarily used for my BDR and AE teams.
  • The UI is very simple and can easily be understood.
  • Automated actions need improvement. My team and I constantly call the same people over and over because the automated actions aren't all that intuitive.
  • The new Omni Dial killed the merge fields. I used to list the most important information as merge fields in order to mention them on my pitch (i.e. last contacted, content downloaded, close lost date, etc.). It now takes extra time for me to dig into Salesforce to prepare each pitch.
  • When proceeding to the next lead/contact record, Groove doesn't automatically populate the next record in Salesforce. Only in Groove. I have to type each record manually into SFDC to research. Salesloft, for example, has had that feature since 2017. All these 5-10 seconds of research matter at the end.
  • A/B Testing is lacking. I can't test 2 email subject lines in one cadence/flow. I have to create an entirely new flow to test the next other subject lines. I'd much rather see the success during my outreach, not after I already tried it in 100+ contacts.
  • Provisioned numbers.
  • Call recordings (hope they would last a bit longer).
  • Email Templates accepting graphics.
  • Groove Chrome extension.
  • Analytics like views and clicks.
  • Increased productivity. It's much better to have than to not have it. My team would not hit 80-100 dials if it weren't for Groove.
  • Multiple deals have closed through Groove - it pays for itself.
The UX and UI work well. It has a similar layout to Salesloft so I understood it in no time.
Groove is simpler and easier to use than outreach and Salesloft. It is also missing some things that make life easier. I would rank Groove as 3rd best in the B2B market.

Do you think Groove, a Clari company delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Groove, a Clari company's feature set?

Yes

Did Groove, a Clari company live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Groove, a Clari company go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Groove, a Clari company again?

Yes

If you have a small operation and do not need all the bells and whistles, Groove is your software. The price is very affordable and that's for a reason. It performs 80% of what you need a Sales Enablement and a Dialer to do (local dialing, provisioned number, cadences, updating SFDC, etc.). If you're a data-driven manager and/or you plan to have a large Sales team making 100+ dials you may need something a bit more complex.

Using Groove

8 - My BDRs use Groove to send out emails and make phone calls. Groove is an integral piece of our sales outreach, tracking, SFDC hygiene, scheduling, etc.
2 - Myself and the our Salesforce Admin own Groove and all the regular changes/update.
  • Phone Calls
  • Emailing
  • Salesforce Task & Event
  • We used Groove to test out the language/pitch the Sales team would use.
  • Groove has been a great way to switch up our phone numbers to increase conversation rate.
  • Groove could be used for LinkedIn connects and emails if we start using Sales Navigator
Groove is integral to our process and we're glad the price is affordable. The only way we would replace Groove is if the price went up or our C-suite decides to want a took that goes beyond Sales Enablement and Sales Automation.
