Pros
- Inbound Marketing through HubSpot has not only changed our marketing agency but it has changed the way that specialty manufacturers can target their audience through marketing efforts. Their innovative and cutting edge methodologies re-energize marketers.
- HubSpot communicates clearly the marriage relationship between sales and marketing and, through their literature, demonstrates how the two can empower each other to better the sales process.
- HubSpot has a contagious way to make marketing lovable through their blog and their annual conference. Marketing through HubSpot is continuous learning, testing, trying, and bettering your own process. Marketing is the vehicle but the HubSpot tool is the "secret sauce."
Cons
- Because HubSpot is innovating and communicating a new way of marketing, there is typically much excitement on the "newest and greatest" release or idea with few answers about actual ROI or "best practices."
- Sometimes HubSpot rolls features out without telling their VARs. Typically, the roll outs are not monumental but to fix the communication barrier, they hold weekly partner broadcasts (webinars).
- The resources library doesn't have much on the sales side of marketing. This is currently being developed though.
- HubSpot saved our agency. When traditional marketing took a dive in ROI, digital marketing conversions needed to end in sales. That's where HubSpot has played a significant role for not only our agency but our clients who use inbound marketing first hand.
- HubSpot has a high price point but the support through Value Added Resellers (VARs) helps offset the cost and learning curve.
- Without a doubt, HubSpot has brought in more customers and increased our bottom through inbound marketing. We have increased in size by 130% over the past 18 months.
