Overall Satisfaction with ion interactive

ION is currently being used by multiple parts of my organization but not the entire organization. We currently use ION as our microsite hosting platform, for creative and strategy for these microsites, and to send the leads generated to our CRM.
  • The capabilities to change and adapt creative quickly; to do this on your own or with an ION team member is a great advantage.
  • The ION platform allows you to be nimble and efficient.
  • The data is always there accessible 24 hours a day to pull on your own so there is no waiting; you can get what you need immediately. Additionally, they have online resources to help you learn the platform and always chat functionality if just need a quick question answered.
  • When working with ION team members greater insights and strategy for the bigger picture of the campaigns running overall.
  • While I love the independence this tool allows having a few dedicated technical resources to your account, if extremely complicated, would be wonderful as each help desk person may not know the intricacies and complexities of the account.
  • For me the ability to pull data in summary for multiple campaigns is missing. Example I have 1 large campaign that is broken into numerous segments while I need to look at each individual segment I would love to be able to easily pull all segments together into a summary report.
  • I have been able to implement a more granular level of tracking with media sources that allows me to see what is perfoming down to an individual level of detail so I can better optimize and know where to put the next dollar.
  • ION has allowed me to test more frequently to allow me to learn what combination of creative generates more leads and sales.
We have used numerous other "homegrown" systems and there were pros and cons. The more home grown systems were complex but were able to build tools specific to my company. On the other hand using a system already in place, like ION, has allowed for great speed and flexibility. In lead generation it is speed to market and ability to optimize that matters most and you can do that with the ION tool if you have the correct resources.
ION is well suited for testing creative and multiple iterations of creative. It has great flexibility and the ability to test without being cost prohibitive. It is great if you are the type of person or someone who has the time to pull and analyze the data yourself. If you don't have a lot of time to learn the tool and or you need help pulling your data this may be a time when you need to include additional scope of work to include ION team members interaction to do so.
