Overall Satisfaction with isolved

At Insulation Supply Company ("INSCO" as it is abbreviated), a distribution firm with its corporate headquarters located in Torrance, California, I work as a Human Resources (HR) Manager. At the company, I currently use the iSolved HCM modules: payroll and time & attendance modules. We as a company made the switch from a well-known, established competitor to iSolved back in early 2021. iSolved prides itself on outstanding customer service, as well as a dedicated service representative, and iSolved certainly delivers! Approximately thirty employees are currently supported with iSolved, but that number may grow in the coming years. The business problems the product addresses include but are not limited to: the timely and accurate processing of payroll, accurately paid time-off (vacation, sick, bereavement, holiday) and unpaid time-off reporting, and the extensive number of reports for the accounting department to utilize when performing accounting-related activities. At the company, I utilize the platform for housing a variety of HR and payroll-related information, including but not limited to: hourly and salary historical pay rates (including raises/promotions), emergency contact information, personal information (such as the employee's home address (street, city, state, and zip code), mobile phone number, and personal email address), and tax (federal and state) information.

  • Customer Service (dedicated account service representative, who gets to know your company's needs).
  • Payroll Reports (accurate, timely, extensive, exhaustive, customizable).
  • Employee Information (accurate reporting of the data, easily viewable information, information presented in a streamlined fashion).
  • PTO Editing (edit the time off type by the employee).
  • Ability to add more than a few time-off types.
  • Ability to customize the process to generate certain reports upon the immediate processing of payroll.

iSolved is far superior to the other platforms mentioned, due to the fact that there is a dedicated customer service representative and the ease of use of the time & attendance and payroll systems as a whole. The HCM modules are great and easy to use. Reports generation is also much more extensive and customizable with iSolved than with the other payroll companies.

iSolved is well-suited for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, extensive use of reports and reporting features, and a dedicated customer service support representative who gets to know you and the needs of your company and payroll processing needs. iSolved is less appropriate if you are looking for a payroll company that can just simply process payroll if customer service is not a number one priority, and if you only need the basic reports (payroll summary and payroll register would be sufficient for your needs).
