Overall Satisfaction with Jira Work Management (Jira Core)

We use it to manage workflows between different teams and across time zones. It’s useful as a project management tool and for our IT teams to communicate. We are addressing business problems such as new website design, marketing strategy, new products business, and aligning our business processes globally with this tool.

  • Less crashing (has happened a few times).
  • More non-user viewing access functionality.

  • Visibility across departments.
  • Increase in overall ROI.

  • Understanding of grand strategy across business.
Jira is the gold standard if your company can afford it. I have used other programs at other companies that do not have the same collaboration features and do not do as well. This seems to be the best for aligning and for offline use across the board really, can’t beat it.

Yes

It’s well suited for longer projects from 3-6 months where you are working across several departments (Operations, IT, other management). It’s useful for communication and checking in on timelines. It’s less useful for weekly or daily touchpoints where you are really getting into detail on action items. We usually used a manual roadmap for that.
