Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We currently use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training in a hybrid approach. We utilize the annual Cybersecurity training for all staff by uploading the SCORM file into our Learning Management System. In addition, we conduct monthly phishing campaigns, weekly Phish Prone campaigns for users that click on the monthly, and follow up with additional training.
- The annual training is comprehensive and addresses current and emerging threats.
- Phishing Campaigns that allow a large number of different types of emails to test end-users with.
- The ability to target specific users with campaigns targeting their specific job functions - HR, Payroll, etc...
- Expanded content - a bit more in depth trainings.
- Ability to manage users more effectively.
- Assists in identifying and addressing end users whose cybersecurity hygiene isn't up to standard and gets those folks trained on areas of concern.
- Campaigns test all staff at least monthly and Phish Prone users at tested weekly with follow-up training.
- Adopted an annual mandatory training for all staff to complete on Cybersecurity.
- Pre-canned training emails can be sent to staff to expand their awareness of current threats.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has several key features that are helpful - the ability to sync Active Directory email addresses so that it is up to date and available at all times, I would say that training is not "overly techy" - meaning all users can understand and apply concepts from training and it's easy for the IT staff to use the console. Barracuda PhishLine misses on all of those features.

Our organization has a large amount of annual training that must be accomplished by all staff. The ability to provide new content every year on a subject that affects staff not only at work but a home as well is very valuable. The content is updated and contains information that is timely and applicable to our daily operations. It not only covers cybersecurity very well, but best practices by staff entering our buildings, phone threats, and even USB attacks.
I utilize the KnowBe4 platform at least once a week and as stated previously, it is user friending and very easy to use.
The most important metric it gives us is an overall assessment of our staff's cybersecurity posture and what types of attacks we are prone to. That information is then used to target training in those areas.
