Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

Litmos is being used to inform and train our internal employees as well as thousands of customer and partner resources. We have over 60 courses, encompassing video training, quizzes, and certifications on our products and services. Current users access Litmos directly through a link in our dashboard, with users accessing from the Americas, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and all of Europe. Litmos allows our company to create infinite scale through recorded training, helping customers and partners to self-serve on a vast majority of common questions. This also helps to refine their inquiry when they reach out to our support or customer success teams.
  • First, Litmos is very easy to use. I was able to record and publish an initial training in a matter of hours.
  • Litmos is also very flexible - you can choose to use the recording tools resident within Litmos, or as we do, use a third party tool to record. The flexibility in tools means that literally anyone can record training, best practices, process training, etc... which continues to add to scaling.
  • Finally, Litmos provides great support - many times we have had questions or needed to do something custom and they have always been there for us. A great partner to work with.
  • Reporting seems to always be the last aspect of a product to evolve, especially for products that are cutting edge. Litmos is no exception - however over the past few releases has made good progress on reporting visualizations. Keep it up!
  • Some of the functionality that Litmos has, like star ratings, reviews, identifying users that are not in teams, etc.... should be part of the core product. These are only now available as premium and therefore cost more, however these are really fundamental to extracting value from the solution, as such I think something more custom as a justifiable for premium pricing
  • We had two individuals attend the last Litmos conference in Las Vegas and it was excellent, however it would have been better if they had some real customer examples of how various industries are setting up trainings. Those examples can be very helpful in new companies getting up to speed.
  • Positive - Reduced travel time for training
  • Positive - The recordings mean we have higher quality with consistent messaging
  • Negative - We are still waiting for their offline version, which we think will greatly enhance adoption
If you want to create a library of training at scale, Litmos is it! As long as you organize your training appropriately into learning paths, and make your modules easy to consume (shorter bursts of info) you cannot go wrong. I wouldn't use Litmos for storing long meetings that are recorded, and calling it training. That isn't necessarily a good use of Litmos and could turn users off.
