Here is your solution to an environment needing ORDER and CONSISTENCY.

Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I would say this is for the individual who reads instructions before just clicking on menu options and trying to come up with a result. However, once you invest the time to go through their training and instructions you come out knowing the basics of what to look for and how to incorporate it into your needs or goals. Follow instructions first to have a user-friendlier experience.
We are using Lucidchart to create workflow diagrams p/ department. Something we did not have in place before but now made super easy to create due to this program.
  • At first, it may look overwhelming but take some time to go thru their instructions which are very detailed and answered our questions.
  • Formatting is done in an easy way because it is simply drag n drop. You can resize any shape and adjust arrows or lines with a simple drag n drop and not worry about aligning anything since the program shows you if your design is aligned.
  • Presenting your result is an easy click away literally click on "PRESENT" and it goes into a presentation mode screen which we found amazing. You can be made edits by simply clicking ESC from the present screen and then go back to presenting again. That simple.
  • It may have this already but I have only used Lucidchart for a few weeks only. Perhaps a small dialog of what each shape is used for and provide an example.
  • Because there are so many templates to choose from, sometimes narrowing down the most common and reasons they are used would help coming up with a decision on what chart to use. i.e., here are our top 10 used charts and what they are used for and the why. Your customers could give feedback on the "why" they used the template they chose.
  • Maybe it does this already but enabling images saved on your PC that you want on your chart. Perhaps an image of a product or organization.
  • Our charts have helped us improve efficiency in the processes we do and finding gaps that were not needed.
  • Our charts have helped us define all the tasks a specific position does and allocate the amount of time in getting those duties accomplished.
For this purpose only, we found it to be successful for us because we use Microsoft applications for SOPs and work order procedures. We definitely see it being beneficial with our Salesforce platform and setting goals.
I would imagine the support team is great, I've not needed them yet.

Well suited scenarios:
  • For work environments that do not have workflow diagrams created to present the process of a department from beginning to end.
  • For warehouse environments to implement a work order that is needed to be followed by all employees and new. I can also see this being used during NEW employee orientation of their activities and what is required of them.
