Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Extremely intuitive with little training, or onboarding. We've had users joining the organization that were able to get up and going with little to no upfront training. Anyone familiar with schematic diagramming processes can get up and get going on this tool. This is an excellent tool, and is in fact intuitive. Most of all new on-boards appreciate this tool.
We use Lucidchart to collaboratively document our workflow processes, and make available these diagrams across our organization for easy reference. The tool is an excellent way for us to easily reference our workflows, and implement documentation, review changes and maintain an archive of our changes. It provides an easy to use application reference in lieu of other desktop solutions.

With GitHub integration, there's a lot of opportunity to disambiguating changes, and allows for users to have a clear sense of change control. Much better than alternative solutions. This is an excellent tool if you want visibility of changes. Slack integration is nice as well, as you can easily reference and connect diagrams to discussions.
Easy documentation of functionality, seldom requires need for support. The several times that I've run into issues are typically solved by reading through documentation, however should I ever need to use the support, it does seem to be readily accessible/visible. I do appreciate the quick start guide which is very quick and easy for all new on-boards.

Previously, I've worked with Visio, and although it was a robust tool for documentation, we hosted our process diagrams within a fileshare. This lends itself to a host of issues with regards to the actual products. I would have to say that I prefer the streamlined approach offered by Lucidchart in lieu of the alternative.
Best use of the technology is within a collaborative environment where multiple users need to reference diagrams, or need an understanding of the outline workflow processes. If you're only publishing these for end-user applications, then you may do well with native desktop applications. However the benefit of being able to share and collaborate is an excellent feature.
