Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to send out updates to our customers regarding new features as well as general marketing pushes. We have different groups set up to sort our customers by plan level, type of store, etc. Previously, we used Mailchimp to walk new users through our onboarding process via a series of steps.
  • Track open rate
  • Division of customers
  • Scheduled sending
  • Handling flow of multi-step email paths
  • Support documentation
  • More intuitive UI
  • Eased communication with customers
Mailchimp handles the [day-to-day] marketing aspect better than monday.com even though monday.com has better tracking and more intuitive ways to get insight into what's happening.
The UI is not intuitive at first, but once you get going, you figure out where things are. When we first started using Mailchimp for the onboarding process, there was a lot of confusion as they had just changed their terminology and the support team was out of sync with the documentation.
This is not a feature set that we used for the onboarding use case of Mailchimp.
Mailchimp allowed me to save a lot of time by automating emails to customers that I sent on a regular basis when they hit key milestones. This enabled me to work on other aspects of my job more thoroughly.

No

Yes

Would you buy Mailchimp again?

Yes

Mailchimp is great for [day-to-day] basic marketing, but more complicated [workflows] become difficult to manage and get insight into where each customer is on their journey.
