Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is the backbone to all of our Marketing efforts. We run all of our marketing activities through Marketo ans it does a great job of meeting all of our needs. Obviously the Marketing Department is the main user, but Sales sees a lot of benefit as well. Through our SalesForce integration Sales Reps can see how their prospects are interacting with Marketing content in real time. It has become a very valuable tool for them.
- Marketo has a large network of partners that you can integrate directly into your instance quickly and easily. We host 30+ Webinars monthly and Marketo is able to seamlessly connect to our Webinar provider to send data back and forth.
- Marketo is a great email platform. You can easily identify dynamic lists of prospects, create an attractive email, send and measure results.
- Marketo is great at growing with your Marketing efforts. You can easily send emails and created simple landing pages the first day you get Marketo. As you grow in experience and complexity Marketo keeps up with. Soon you are creating complex Lead Life-cycle to move unknown prospects through your Sales Cycle.
- There is a lot of initial setup required in order to generate accurate reporting and analytics.
- Some settings are permanent once initially set. It would be nice to have a little bit more flexibility.

We use Marketo at every stage of a Lead Lifecycle. We are constantly trying to get new names into the database through webinar and tradeshow programs. Once leads have been gathered we can easily identify where they are in the buying life-cycle and get the right messaging in front of them at the right time. This includes Customers. Smart Lists let us easily identify which products a customer does and does not have. We also utilize Marketo for more Operational Messaging like Product Release, Support Communication and Training
