Overall Satisfaction with Matillion

Matillion is being used with Snowflake to address enterprise data warehousing needs and provide for a seamless ETL solution for our data to be processed in Snowflake and generate business ready reports and analytics.

It is a very straight forward tool setup with all the required features and caters for situations such as S3 buckets requiring data to be encrypted from Matillion when being loaded. It us very easy to setup and very easy to manage.
We were able to setup Matillion in less than 2 hours and had started transformation process within the same day.
Matillion offers a variety if instance sizes in AWS for use with Snowflake and hence customers are free to spin up an instance that would fit in with requirements and can be scaled up and down according to requirements. However, I have given it 8 scores out of 10 because in today's world products like this should have capabilities of auto scaling built in where as at the moment it is not there.
Matillion ease of use and feature set along with integration capabilities and built in integrations are definitely a step ahead than the other tools and it provides the ability for us ti integrate with refshift, Snowflake and on premise data sources and hence becomes a versatile tool.
If you are looking for a good ETL solution to use with Snowflake, Matillion fills that gap very nicely.
