Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Exchange
Microsoft Exchange is one of the mail servers we used in our company which has a variety of tools to manage mailings and schedule meetings. This server can be used in an offline network as in our case and can support many users in terms of software manner. We can both use the mail server via application or web interface.
- Integrate with microsoft products.
- Robust, reliable mail service.
- Can create tasks and schedule meetings over the interface.
- Microsoft Exchange does not have a GUI application officially for Linux users.
- Application does not respond if the server connection is down.
- Rarely user application halts unexpectedly.
- Book rooms and schedule meetings.
- Can handle at least 5000 users in an intranet network.
- Synchronize other mail servers in one place.
- Can create reminders and tasks easily which then notifies whenever you want.
- This application can integrate with Microsoft products such as copying a table easily to the mail.
- Previewing a microsoft based document makes things really fast over the interface.
- Zimbra Email & Collaboration
We use Zimbra for some specific tasks in our company. Microsoft has superiority over Zimbra in terms of the graphical user interface. I like the Microsoft exchange interface as it is more futuristic. Also, Microsoft exchange has a better user experience. Zimbra mail can be sometimes laggy and respond late. Microsoft user interface is user friendly, you can learn the application on your own easily.
