Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365
We currently only use the main pieces that everyone knows, and being a small company we don't have a need or the expertise to go much beyond that. However, in addition to Outlook, Excel, and Word, we will soon be using Flow and Sharepoint.
- It's easy to use.
- It integrates among the various other programs.
- It's very efficient and powerful.
- It is familiar, meaning you have used Office for years and this is still Office, just updated and improved.
- It is cloud-based. This really isn't a con, but for the less tech-savvy people who own the company, they prefer to own things and don't trust this type of setup.
- I'm such a fan of Office I have a hard time finding the cons of the Office group of products.
- It saves space on the server.
- It saves money, at least upfront because it is scalable to the exact number of people that need licenses.
- Our company doesn't really keep track of ROI, but the biggest savings is probably in our license costs because they used to buy volume licenses and usually had too many.
I haven't used any other products to compare it against. The only different products I have used have been earlier versions of Microsoft Office and this is much improved and enhanced.
