Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 is used in place of the older Office products. We have started moving to the cloud and this was the first to go. We were able to migrate user mailboxes and set up a hybrid environment. The other office products are used but we have not started using cloud storage. That will come at a later date when we start to migrate the file server to the cloud. This product has helped keep us up to date with the newest features since before we had to purchase the whole suite every few years. Now we just pay a monthly fee and we are good to go.
  • The software keeps up to date with little user interaction. This is good for both the user and administrator.
  • It offers training links for users and administrators that have been helpful.
  • It offers multiple products so you can accomplish any job you need.
  • It offers so many different pieces of software, it can become overwhelming at times.
  • Sometimes they could test out the updates a little more before pushing them out, although there are different channels you can opt into.
  • I would like to see more training links and how to's.
  • It will give us the ability to remove some on-prem servers which will free up some licensing.
  • It was a bit difficult to set up a hybrid environment.
  • It provides everyone with the tools needed to work proficiently.
I had some issues and support was pretty helpful. It didn't take them too long to get back to me and they were able to work with me to get through the issues I had.

Do you think Microsoft 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft 365's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft 365 go as expected?

No

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Yes

Office 365 is well suited if you want to replace some of the older Microsoft Office products. There are more features and updated products. I would think that it would be useful in any office environment. The only thing that you would want to look at is the different licensing structures. Some may not need everything that O365 offers.
