Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

We are using MS Teams across a small team of 3 people. My last organization was using it across a team of 10-15 people and were moving more people to Teams as Skype for Business was the standard for years and being moved over to Teams eventually. I wish the move over to Teams would have been an organization decision rather than the grass roots impact like it was.
  • Voice quality is typically really good.
  • Sharing your screen or application works well.
  • Needing a lighter plug-in for customers who don't have Teams and need to download it to join your meeting.
  • If joining over voice and sharing screen, bandwidth requirements seem to go up more than other tools. I could be wrong on this or there are other factors going on here.
  • Being able to chat with collegues quickly helps the business keep moving!
  • Even if the collegue isn't at their computer at that time, I trust they will receive an email letting them know that I chatted with them.
Slack, Zoom, GoToMeeting. We selected Teams for our current small 3 person organization because of easy of management and cost since it is included with our Office 365 subscription as a company.
I actually have not used MS Teams support. I'm giving a 7 as I'm guessing the support would be reasonable if you were a larger organization and fine for smaller organizations. That might be a good sign that I've never used their support for the product to just work well. I think I would use their support if I tried other features like the apps you can add in, file sharing if it didn't work as expected the first time, etc. The chat and screen sharing really works well for the 3 of us.

TIBCO Cloud Integration (including BusinessWorks and Scribe)
Teams works great for anyone who has Office 365 with other users in their organization. It is nicely integrated with Outlook to quickly create internal and external meeting requests. You can see all your recent files. You can request to take over another persons screen and control it. Video works great to easily have a virtual meeting to make everyone feel part of the meeting. I like being able to ping someone quickly throughout the day.
It is interesting how I end up using the tool the most of the people I communicate with use. Slack and Teams have been the 2 main tools I've experienced using. For doing demonstrations, online meetings, I've gone between Zoom (my favorite), GoToMeeting and Teams. If I want to have the presentation go as smoothly as possible with people joining easily, sound working, then I use Zoom. If it is only a couple people from a current customer, then I'm fine using Teams.
