Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP)

We use MIP Fund Accounting to establish our general ledger and chart of accounts. In a broad scope, we are using this as a whole organization, yet specifically the finance department uses it. It addresses the business problem of ensuring that every purchase, transaction, expense, etc. is accounted for and bucketed into the most accurate department and team.

  • MIP Fund Accounting is great in customer service.
  • MIP Fund Accounting's PC version is very helpful.
  • MIP Fund Accounting's budget module could use improvement.
  • Its system integration could use improvement.
  • Its user system controls could use improvement.
Concur Travel and Expense, AvidXchange, MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP)
MIP Fund Accounting is well suited for a company with an extensive general ledger and chart of accounts. I do not believe that it is well useful for a small company that does not have a very extensive general ledger or chart of accounts. Also, MIP works well with Microsoft Excel and the import of such documents.
