Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps us to create and share ideas. Across the whole organization, people can create boards to collaborate and share diagrams. From Kanban board to UI mock-ups, it's really simple to start using Miro. Plus they have an Academy website where people can learn more skills. The integrations are also a plus, such as Jira and Zoom, it's easy to transform a sticky note into a Jira issue and share the Miro board in a Zoom meeting so everyone can see.

Since Miro is a SaaS tool, the implementation is pretty straightforward. Just give access to your users (and probably some training) but that's all it takes to start using Miro, that's something that makes it wonderful. Plus it also has an option to export boards such as print a pdf, that's great.
It's a SaaS platform, it integrates really easily with other SaaS tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Trello, Google Calendar, Notion, Dropbox, and many others, so it allows having a bunch of apps in a single place. People can authenticate with a great number of IdP's like Google or Microsoft.
People can create boards, share them and start collaborating among many teams. Teams are getting prompt feedback about new ideas without the need to come together into a meeting room and explain the exercise, it reduces the time people waste on such meetings. With the integrations, action items can be created on the board.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I used use Mural in my previous work, I remembered it was really hard to start using it. I don't recall Mural had integrations. That did not happen with Miro, I've invited people to start using Miro and simply by viewing it and start playing with it, they got the idea in less than 30 minutes.
I came up with an interesting article by Chris Romeo about Threat Modeling using Miro. "Miro was an excellent option to begin
working with to perform the drawing phase of threat modeling. Miro is
what we used in our experiment." The sharing options make Miro a great tool for collaboration.
