Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to facilitate brainstorming, visual prototyping, and workflow creation for our department. It got us using a single design tool with everyone being able to see the created visuals and edit them if necessary. We have diagrammed the entire website and experience workflows while also providing room for collaboration.
  • Diagramming.
  • Visual workflows.
  • Brainstorming.
  • Snap to object is often frustrating.
  • Not enough visual elements (icons).
  • Relative size is easy to lose track.
  • Very easy onboarding (New User to advanced user) very fast.
I was not involved in implementation.
We have not done any integrations yet.
Seriously helped. We have a completely remote team after the start of the pandemic. We have gone through several tools for whiteboarding, brainstorming, etc, but settled on Miro as it was already purchased and solved many of the problems of other tools (multiple versions, lack of visibility in changes, grid-based system).

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I would use Miro in situations where you are working with medium size groups to brainstorm experiences, design workflows, and share work. If you work in anything with showing and getting input on upcoming pages, you will get good value out of Miro. It also works across various groups (Product Management, Program Management, Development, Design, UX/UI, Marketing) and skill levels.
