Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an industrial design student, many of my professors use Miro as a collaborative space where students can share ideas, brainstorm, create inspiration boards, collect research, and hold workshops. The possibilities and uses are infinite, and Miro's visual nature keeps all the content organized and within reach.

Pros

  • Ability to move around content, re-organize and re-group
  • Ability to upload images, PDFs, add text, annotations, drawings, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate simultaneously and bounce off each others' contributions

Cons

  • Text boxes appear extremely long by default and are difficult to resize
  • Ability to type simultaneously inside a text box
  • Easier accessibility to notification settings
  • Miro has increased the level of organization for my projects.
  • Miro has increased the productivity of students in my class to track projects and see progress.
  • Miro has boosted the number of times students work collaboratively to generate brilliant ideas.
Miro is an all-in-one tool for design projects from brief to ideation to the final product.
Very accessible, easy to learn, seamless use.
During online schooling for universities during the Covid 19 Pandemic, students were able to collaborate virtually and connect better than ever to see their ideas come to life.

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Google Drive has limited space, not visually organized, and harder to collaborate on many different types of content at once.
Miro is a great tool for designers to collect inspiration, brainstorm, compile research, organize ideas, and collaborate to bring visualizations to life.
