Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an organization, we run a lot of virtual workshops, and Miro has become my de facto standard tool for this use case. It is excellent at encouraging engagement/participation from workshop attendees, quick at brainstorming and capturing feedback, and super easy to use.

  • Encourages collaboration.
  • Fairly customisable/flexible.
  • Free for guests.
  • The sophistication of graphic design/creation is limited.
  • Importing certain data types can be buggy/unsupported.
  • Our clients love Miro as a tool.
  • We get more information and collaboration from our clients during workshops.
  • Our workshops are definitely more productive and engaging.
  • We save time making notes during workshops (as the client can do it themselves using Miro!).
It's a cloud based platform that is super easy to use. Reducing 1 point to "9" as the different access permissions were confusing at first.
Doesn't integrate with other applications.
It has improvement idea generation, idea capture, audience participation, audience engagement all with great participant feedback.

Yes

We use Miro for workshops, during which we want to capture participant feedback or thoughts, or collaborate on solving a particular problem in an interactive way - gaining participation from the audience.

However, if we want simply to present material without audience interaction, whilst Miro is good and has this ability it is superseded by PowerPoint in my view - largely due to PowerPoint's superlative graphic design, animation etc. functionality.
