Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro boards are used to create communication artifacts for solutions, architectural decisions, and strategy decisions. Used diagrams vary from simple UML diagrams for developers, through high-level architecture components diagrams to depict communication channels, to simple schematic diagrams intended for management presentations. A very useful feature is team access with the option to see what other participants are doing for collaborative sessions due to remote sessions.
  • collaboration
  • easy to use
  • nice looking diagrams
  • great amount of various elements
  • creation of native device screens, e.g. Figma
  • ready made diagrams
  • quick collaboration with external companies / consultants, one time/day invitation
  • invitation expiration, such as allowing access for external companies for limited time
  • Making cooperation manageable for home office and external sources.
  • Improving documentation coverage.
  • Questionable integration with other systems in house like Confluence or Jira.
We did not integrate Miro with other solutions.
Definitively in a very positive way, Miro boards helped to keep a good level of communication and understanding between colleagues while working from home. Online meetings are more interactive as we can see the activity of other colleagues. It also allowed cooperating with external resources that similarly are working from home or their offices without a necessity to meet in person.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Team remote sessions where the collaborative features are greatly helping to understand each other and see where a colleague is making changes + offline collaboration, such as a notification about changes that happened during the previous day, while not everybody is online all the time - designing screens for native devices - diagrams with interactivity such as simulating an app behavior.
