Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been a fantastic platform for visualizing complex information and workflows, as well as a tool for brainstorming and team critiques. We bring team members into a shared "board" to collaborate and facilitate conversations, and the "follow" feature allows the facilitator/presenter to keep the group focused and on-task. This has been crucial for creating roadmaps, mapping out user flows, and conducting affinity-mapping exercises.
  • Visualize roadmaps, workflows, and data.
  • Capture comments and feedback.
  • Facilitate idea-generation/brainstorming.
  • More real-time communication.
  • More visibility at the dashboard level (a preview/thumbnail).
  • Increased productivity.
  • Better alignment among stakeholders.
  • Better visualization of information.
  • Improved collaboration and transparency.
We have integrated Miro with Figma at a very basic level, and the integration worked as expected.
Team members have been able to actively participate in brainstorms, roadmapping exercises, research analysis, and more - the ability to work with peers regardless of physical location has been dramatically improved. The ability to create a huddle within Miro has been a nice bonus, as team members do not have to set up a separate call.

Would you buy Miro again?

Miro was far more robust than FigJam at the time we started using it, so it was an easy decision. FigJam has rapidly caught up in many aspects, but Miro remains more accessible to team members across the wider organization and still has more features overall. At this point, we're using both on a regular basis, depending on the specific need.
Miro is great for mapping out user flows and information, sharing work with others, and getting teams together to collaborate - both remotely and in person. It has become a go-to tool for brainstorming, as well as critiquing design work, due to the ability to guide participants around the board and collect comments/sticky notes. It also has been useful for conducting competitive analysis, as screenshots/examples can be pasted side-by-side and then notated as needed.
