We are a growing small business who were starting to get bogged down in endless excel spreadsheets and miscommunication between team members. I wanted to find a solution that was not too complex, and everyone could use effectively and quickly.
I found monday.com to be the perfect match to what we were looking for. It was spreadsheets on steroids. We love being able to see everything in one spot, and being able to collaborate across boards. It's also become a great communication tool for our team. We just started using integrations and automations, and it's making our workflow much more efficient.

- Integration & Automation. monday.com allows us to skip data entry by connecting to apps we already use.
- Communication. Being able to automatically alert a team member when an item needs their attention saves us time of having to email/call manually.
- The Brain. This is what we call monday.com at our office. All of our company's information are stored here. If we ever need to find something, 1 search is all it takes.
- Something I wish monday.com had is a direct integration with a texting service like SimpleTexting.
- Because it's designed like a spreadsheet, I wish it were possible to click on an item and show all of the information in a simple view, rather than having to scroll right through different columns. This is possible with the mobile app, but not on the desktop/web version.
During our 2 years using monday.com, we have not experienced any issues regarding reliability or uptime. It has proven to be working as needed for our team. We tend to work later in the night, and have not had issues that restrict us from doing so due to upgrades or updates.
One thing that we make sure to do is to download a backup of our files once a week just in case something happens. But we have not had the need to every go back to those backups.
