Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

Project management, task flow / work-flow management and time tracking as well as a Key Performance matrix with a scorecard for each team member to record their own scores for performance management.
  • Simple and easy to use
  • Excellent support and how to video's and articles
  • Integration with Google is great
  • Ease of reporting and tracking - Export to Excel
  • Mobile app also easy to use and quick to update
  • Ensuring I have set up a Private board vs public board is not clear - it would be useful to have an additional alert when creating a board as I work with sensitive information. It will eventually be used in a team based environment but while I test the boards, they needs to be private.
  • Time tracking is clumsy, could be easier to record
  • Much easier to review my prior month and report to clients on work completed; easy to extract the information and work done to Excel to add budget tracking etc - I see this is possible in monday.com and I will investigate how/if this is possible on our current plan.
  • Very fast and easy set-up of Boards.
  • Still lots to learn and grasp - many more opportunities to become more efficient using monday.com. I'm only just getting started.
  • The initial automations are quick and easy to set up, and if set up correctly.
  • My month-end client status and progress reports are now more accurate, and I can keep track of all the information in one place (inside monday.com).
It's really about ease of use. I use Click-Up as well, which I really enjoy, but monday.com is a lot less complex to use. Its structure is a bit easier to understand and I got accustomed to the functionality very quickly. I have not explored enough of its functionality to comment any further but it's a really great tool for tracking progress and for capturing absolutely everything I need to save, including ideas, brain-dump, insights, continuous improvement on tasks and processes. I am lucky to be able to use monday.com as a member of my client's team.
I have never experienced downtime...
monday.com is simpler and easier to grasp, apply and navigate than ClickUp, but the ClickUp free version has so much more functionality available than the monday.com free / low-cost options (sorry, but it's true!).
Google Tasks is really simple and I shouldn't really compare them - it's just really nice to be able to see my tasks right next to my Google Calendar or Gmail (widget) - the "all on one" view on the screen is really nice ease of access, but the power of monday.com outweighs the nice-to-have of an all-in-one screen layout - it feels clumsy to bring in all my Calendar items from Google to monday.com, so an integration app to the Google screen where you can see monday.com tasks would be amazing.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

No

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

monday.com has very clear default views that are easy to follow, simple to update and amend. Automations are really easy to set up, but you need a good idea of what you want to do and the order it needs to be done in. The options available on Automations are improving all the time.
