Overall Satisfaction with Monetate
Monetate is being used by the marketing department to test landing pages, e-commerce flows, introduce and test new experiences on our websites, and serve layer ads. Development resources are tight, so Monetate allows us to iterate on our current e-commerce and site experiences and only push those experiences through to development once they've proved valuable.

- Easily customize onsite experience based on advanced targeting
- Services have been an issue. The business model has changed, and services once handled by Monetate are now being outsourced. Lots of turnover on the account and services side.
- Initial integration was painful. For full integration with our e-commerce flows, we had to add instrumented tagging. The initial integration did not meet our needs but it took a full year to realize that. Integration might not be as simple as they pitch.
- Full page A/B testing always seemed more complicated than it should be.
- Testing in our ecommerce pages has increased lead generation and revenue numbers by improving the conversion rates on our existing traffic
- We've been able to scale back on development hours and run tests and even 100% experiences through Monetate
- Overall, cost of Monetate product creeping up and revenue wins probably didn't cover the total investment.
