Overall Satisfaction with MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)

At our company Mural is used as a collaborative software among agile squads in order to develop customer journey maps, to draft communications destined to clients and to have brainstorming sessions and agile events where everyone can give their input. Mural easily tackles the problem of working together since we are still under a home office regime.
  • Organizing ideas
  • Give visibility to everyone's input
  • Brainstorming
  • Adjusting canvas size, there could be predetermined templates
  • Insert tables
  • Insert frames
  • It allows collaborative work
  • Easy access to the platform
  • UI is easy to understand if you haven't used it before, so newcomers adapt quickly to it
  • Mural allows us to draft communications for clients that aim to increase the NPS of the organization
  • Mural allows us to keep up with the agile framework, which reduces Time to Market of our products and initiatives
  • Mural allows us to identify blockers in our day to day tasks, which reduces the Cicle Time of our Kanban cards
Mural has a User Interface that is easier to understand, which allows us to bring newcomers to brainstorm and design sessions without investing time in learning. Mural has more dinamic objects that impact on the presentation and visibility of the work, like having Post it notes that can be stretched to any dimension; this may seem a small feature but it is important for our team in order to keep our boards clean and understandable.

Do you think MURAL delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Did MURAL live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy MURAL again?

Mural is well suited for collaborative work where there isn't high complexity in the job that needs to be done, like drafting simple diagrams or journeys without too much information. Since the items and icons available don't allow a more dinamic or creative approach, Mural is better for day to day activities that don't require high impact presentations.
