Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

In the past, we used OneCause for our major banquets. This year, we are using them for smelling banquets, as well. It helps us organize the flow and planning for the event. The benefit is that we can collect money from non-attendees and attendees in advance. Also, we can continue to collect donations after the event.
  • Particularized website
  • Money Collection
  • Software Training
  • I wish they way you could set up ticketing was different. For example, if there was spacing for only 26 tables or 260 guests, the tickets dont seem to allow you to stay within that range.
  • Needs a space for sponsors to give.
  • Time Saved
  • Easy Planning
  • More engaged donors, bidding and buying.
For some reason, the site crashed as our guests were using it during the banquet. It did not come back online for most of our guests until after the major giving appeal.
They are very responses and have pre-use trainings and on-going trainings through it's help library. It's like you can take a school to be certified. Besides all of that, you have a pretty good idea how to use the platform before you even sign up to buy it.
I honestly forget. It stood out in comparison.

I think that onecause is great for any organization. I learned about it 5 years ago while working with another organization. When switching to another organization, I reached out to them only to discover we were already partners. So, we worked towards renewing that relationship. Finally, I am an active relationship with onecause again at my current organization. All three organizations focused on health and human services but executed its work and mission differently. So, I believe it can work for any organization. The risk may be committing to a three year contract.
