Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System
I use the Opti Content management system to maintain and update my site with relevant content related to the products and industries we serve. We use it to create and manage blogs also.
- Easy to navigate.
- Easy to create content and manage it.
- Enable us to make changes to our site quickly and efficiently.
- Allows us to do work ourselves without a developer or knowing code,.
- Make it easier to get out of of the CMS once you activate it. now, anytime you use CMS and try to go to your website after it opens the CMS if you're logged into the admin console, which is really annoying.
- Make it easier to create widgets without needing to work through a developer or partner.
- Help manage image sizes when adding them to the site, to help improve site speed.
- The positive is on ROI as we can get more done without needing to go through 3rd party or know Code to create and add content.
- Workflows could use improvement. I don't know that there are workflows that I'm aware of.
- Make it easier to connect to 3rd party software like Hubspot, Magento, email services, etc.
We use Configured Commerce, Opti PIM, and CMS. We use PIM to manage our product content, CMS to manage blogs and marketing page content, and Configured commerce to manage the site. I'd like to see them work more seamlessly together. Currently, we manage things in 3 different places, which requires logging in and opening three different browsers. This can be a pain and cause confusion for people trying to learn the system.
It's made it much easier for us to manage our site through our marketing team. We are able to move more quickly and get more done as a team. It also allows us to make mass changes much more quickly and effectively with a small team, which is important for us.
Pretty quickly. Through trial and error. The training, much like all training I've seen for Optimizely products, is complete crap! I've never seen worse training in my career on any platform. It's completely irrelevant, especially for the configured commerce. PIM Training was okay but not great. I think this is a major area that needs improvement.
It's a little bit better and easier to use.
