Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux
It's being used for to deploy various core banking platform across different banks and organizations. As a company we have been installed and configured this linux distribution to host in house application developed by the banks and the company customers are being profited from this platform since they are not paying a license fee, only they are paying to for our company for a support in case of any issue happen.
- Stable for installing Oracle Database
- Ksplice update
- Oracle Linux virtualization manager
- Kannel SMS gateway is not working on oracle Linux
- Compatibility issue with HP hardwares
- Stability
- Long term deployment
The above mentioned entries application are well tested with oraclebon oracle principles and I have seen also they are operating in Avery well manner in oracle linux platform. It's also known that the world fastest database machine is oracle Xdata appliance with oracle Linux operating system...this is also a very big evidence being given by the company.
