Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

I use this for bi-monthly payroll processing, payroll calculation and tax payments. I also use it for all tax reports, including quarterly reports, W2, etc. I use the system to track paid time off and leave of absences. I use it for salary and hourly reporting and bonus calculations. I use it for historic reference as well.
  • Accurately calculates all payroll tax documents
  • Pays taxes for us promptly
  • Makes it easy to enter payroll online
  • I'd like to receive compliance posters for my county. I already receive the State and Fed, but our County has additional compliance posters that need to be displayed.
  • Creating a second check or bonus check can be tricky. I don't think it is as user friendly as it should be.
  • Using Paychex Flex has saved my company a lot of time; and time is money.
  • Paychex has the history going back many years. This made it easy to file the ERTC.
Positively - The reports are accurate and historic. This helped immensely with our ERTC. I use the reports to create my own reports for the budget and for management. The reports generated by Paychex Flex are quite essential to the smooth flow of time management.
The support is always quick and helpful. I rated it 9 instead of 10 since the specialist assigned to my account is never available and I don't have a relationship with anyone at the company at this time. It's always someone new answering my questions and helping me through any issues I encounter.
Paychex Flex works better than Intuit's plan for the simple reason that I have entered data incorrectly into Intuit and Paychex Flex prevents me from entering the data incorrectly. There are checks and balances and in the end, it is generated automatically and accurately.

Because I have used other platforms, I choose Paychex Flex for it's ease and accuracy.
Intuit Online Payroll (discontinued), ADP GlobalView Payroll
It is well suited for small businesses and I believe it is also suited for large businesses. I've used it with a company of less than 10 employees and also with a company of 50 employees. It seems well suited for either case. It's a huge stress relief that tax reports and prepared and accurate so quickly.

Relationship with Paychex, Inc.

As with any company I've encountered, during the sales process you get the most attention. It's after the sales process that really counts. I still find it easy to work with Paychex even after the sales process.
You always get a response quite quickly. I find it very easy to get someone to help out with any issue I have.
Recently, after having used the Paychex Flex system for several years, I wanted a new feature that was available. To my surprise, it was in a platform that was less expensive and had more options than what I was currently working with. They switched me and lowered my price. I didn't negotiate. They just offered!!
Everyone has a client representative that they can email. They usually get back to you pretty quickly, however, if you have a question that needs to be resolved immediately, call them. If your rep is not available, there is always an expert that can help you.

Paychex Flex makes payroll easy and accurate. I can run a payroll anytime I am ready, which makes it very convenient. The reports are accurate and the posters keep me in compliance.

Paychex Flex provided exceptional support when it came to filing for ERTC credits. This would have taken a lot of time and I certainly would not have calculated it properly.
