Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

Paycor is being used for its Time and Attendance, its payroll solutions, as well as its integration with other vendors of importance, like our 401K administration.

Pros

  • Implementation of Paycor is made extremely easy with weekly conversations with the implementation team, until we are comfortable with every aspect of what we use.
  • The people at Paycor are top notch, there is a great understanding of our needs, and they can point us in the right direction.

Cons

  • I would like to see Paycor bring some functionality within its platform, rather than contract services outside. Understanding that Paycor focuses on what it is great at, and has strategic partners for what Paycor does not offer is great, but it would be great to have it all within one platform.
  • We now have the ability to tell our salaried exempt personnel how many hours they are actually working, which is great to know with the newer regulations coming out in December.
  • Our previous provider continued to skip paying some people. We have not had that problem with Paycor.
In 10 years of public accounting, I noticed that some of the larger payroll companies made more payroll related errors than others. People make mistakes, and computers can only spit out what they are given, but I never heard anyone complain about the service they received from Paycor, and never heard of any errors with the payroll.
Paycor is a great company, and does extremely well with what they do. As a CPA in public practice, Paycor was always my recommended payroll company, so when I made the switch to the industry, bringing Paycor on board with me was not a question of if, rather of when.
