Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

We used Paycor for our HR and Payroll module. Our goal was to go paperless as much as possible. It did allow us to move to a more paperless system. From my experience, the main problems were the inability for the system to communicate effectively from module to the other.In my opinion,the system was also very slow on payroll weeks which was troublesome.

  • In my opinion, the system is too slow, many times it kicks you out or you cannot use it during payroll weeks.

  • Need to track benefits in our own spreadsheet because they could not fix the benefit module.
  • Needed to create and run our own reports because their reports were not accurate.
  • Needed to fix payrolls after the fact because some things could not be processed in time.
Unfortunately, Paycor has a major system issue that in my opinion needs to totally be reconfigured. The benefit module is not accurate and does not work correctly. The EDI feeds do not work and took over a year to be implemented and still were not accurate.
We have used in the past ADP, we just outgrew it and needed it to do more things. Paychex, I would say we also outgrew. We are with Paycom now, we are pleased with the product and the various modules. It allows us to run reports and have our benefits and EDI feeds set up accurately and be processed accurately.
Paycor needs to evaluate its system and because it purchased systems from other entities, it needs someone to evaluate how they connect and communicate with one another. There is an obvious disconnect and it causes the system to run extremely slow. The reports are also not accurate either and this module needs rebuilt.
