Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore is used by the construction manager on a large scale NBA arena. It's used for access to the current specifications, drawings, and submittals. We are also using it for in-wall sign-offs, along with reporting, and responding to all punch list items. All change orders or requests for proposals are also sent through procore. We must respond through procore as well.
  • Keeping the current drawings. I never have to worry that I am looking at an old version.
  • Keeping a record of all unpadded specifications and submittals. Very easy for me to make sure I am looking at the most current ones.
  • Sending out requests for proposals. Procore makes it easy to see right away when new ones come out, and makes it easy to respond and upload within the program.
  • My iPad has issues when loading the current drawings out in the field. It keeps showing me all the drawings, when I only want the mechanical one.
  • Procore is great for the office side, but the field iPad and iPhone versions could use improvement. I would like to see a measuring tool in the mobile version for drawings.
  • I would like to see an off-line mode for my mobile devices. It seems I always have to re-download a drawing on my phone.
  • It has saved time when looking for a current drawing. I don't need to check that I am looking at the current version.
  • Saves time and money when receiving current change orders, and proposal requests.
  • The mobile version of the app isn't the best. It can take awhile, and multiple attempts to get the correct drawing.
For use in the field, PlanGrid is far better. Far easy to mark up a drawing, measure, and send a snapshot via email. I prefer Bim360 for punch list tracking as well. You can easily make reports, and only select certain trades or areas. Procore is still the best on a desktop or laptop. Very easy for recieving and responding to change order paperwork.
Procore is great for the office side. It makes it very easy to obtain, and respond to all proposal requests, and change orders. The construction manager (CM) can attach all relevant drawings and narratives. When responding, you can also easily attach the cover sheet, and all relevant backup documentation.

It can be used in the field as well. However, there are other products more suited for application on a job-site.
