Overall Satisfaction with Procore

I can't stress enough how important it would be to us to get the change order side of things fixed and easier for us to implement and use. It is crucial for us to have those in and allows me to be able to track how a job is doing.
Whenever we encounter a problem with anything that gets synced with sage, we have to contact Procore and it would be so easy if we could make these changes on our own.
We use it across our entire organization from our project managers and job site superintendents to the people in our accounting staff. It has helped us keep everything that is related to a particular job stay under one roof. As part of our accounting staff, it is nice for me to be able to review the budget and really drill down into where our costs are coming from.
  • Having all of our commitments available at the click of a button makes it easy on me as a cost accountant to review an order.
  • I like how project managers can utilize the forecast to complete and give an accurate view on where we stand in certain areas of a job.
  • Integrations with other accounting software.
  • Once a PO has been sent to ERP and synced with Sage, we have no ability to edit anything about that PO. Instead we have to get in contact with ER{ team and have them reset so we can start over again.
  • We use Sage as our main accounting software and change orders are a big part of what we do and I would imagine that is the case for most construction companies. And Procore is dropping the ball in that area. It just is not compatible and leads to double entry.
  • Would like to make all of our vendors available to every job rather than having to add them to the job. So just having one directory would be beneficial to us.

  • Saves us paper and can keep everything on file in the cloud
It can be very useful for everything a project manager needs to run his or her job. Daily logs, submittals, commitments, etc are all there for a project manager to use at the click of a button. The only area that I have a problem with is how change orders are entered and integrated with Sage.
