Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We have 2 branches to our company (one located in Hawaii and the other in LA). We use ProCore for both branches to keep track of projects and to pass along important documents. We also use it to issue Contracts, Sub-contracts, Changes Orders, etc. ProCore allows us to easily provide our clients with one place to find all their documents (plans, contracts, contact information, etc), which would otherwise be lost within tons of emails.
- Manages and uploads plans to one place and allows for drawing edits for all appropriate parties to see.
- Allows users to make changes to things that have been submitted, while also automatically informing all appropriate parties of the changes.
- Sends reminders to clients and subcontractors about answering RFIs that would otherwise have been forgotten about.
- The online video demonstrations of how to use all of ProCores tools can be a little hard to watch. It's not that the videos are particularly difficult to understand, but the aren't the most stimulating thing to sit through and watch. They tried their best to break it down by providing quizzes and shorter videos, but when you look at how much material there is to learn in one course, it's daunting.
For what I do within our company, I have not had to really use these features. I collaborate mostly through my email.
