Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore has been integrated into our entire company's way of thinking. We know everything must go through Procore so we are trained to do so.
We use Procore to load and track submittals to our customers. We also upload drawings for review and approval. Procore is used primarily by purchasing and project managers. It makes it easier for the two departemnts to communicate without having to actually setup a meeting.
  • Very user-friendly. Uploading and tracking could not be any easier.
  • I like the constant emails Procore sends when things are updated.
  • Web site is very fast. No buffering or lags when loading.
  • I love all the training videos for new users. Very helpful.
  • Navigating through the site to add submittals can be challenging.
  • The process to add users to a job can be cumbersome because we have to rely on the customer.
  • Sometimes emails aren't sent even though something was updated.
I am one of many users that take advantage of the unlimited user licenses. Our purchasing department also uses this licensing which makes it easier to upload cut sheets. Cut sheets now can be put directly onto Procore instead of sending it to the project manager for him to upload. Unlimited licenses helps with that.
  • Procore makes approving documents on a global scale.

Prolog and Box
Approving documents is a perfect way to use Procore. Also sharing documents that need a signature or approval.
Using it for planning or execution is too user dependent. No fail-safes if something is past due.

Using Procore

15 - Procore is used primarily for document control. Submittals, drawings and other customer/supplier documentation. Purchasing and Project Managers are the primary users of these functions. I highly recommend using Procore for all your document control needs. It saves us from many meetings and a lot of travel to customers.

Very good product and easy to navigate. Customers and suppliers seem to like it as well.

Evaluating Procore and Competitors

Our company does not choose whether or not use Procore. Our customer dictates what program they use and we follow that. I am glad they chose Procore as the price is affordable and usability is very easy. Tracking is probably the easiest feature to master on the site. It is also very to upload documents.
I have used other programs in the past and I prefer Procore over them all. So I am very thrilled when our customers choose Procore over the many other options. We often even suggest Procore if they currently don't have a program already in place. Most times they take our suggestion.
