Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Currently, it is only used for two projects in different regions. It is being used for document control and financial management.
- The financial module is quite complete and serves all needs for a project. The ability to attach documents to change orders, commitments, etc... is a big plus.
- The change order creation process is quite complex for typical users. For modifications after a change order for a commitment to be approved requires too many steps (i.e. change status from approved for CO, PCO, etc..) then doing the modification to the SOV and finally going back through approvals.
B2W Software products don't have a strong financial functionality. The change order and tracking process are more robust than Procore. B2W software has no document control functions. The B2W estimating tool is excellent and projects can be transferred to project execution in one step. Setting up a project is much simpler than with Procore. Also, Procore's restriction on the number of projects that can be executed at one time discourages companies from using the tool for smaller projects.
Yes, I have. It is a plus to have the ability to add users without having to purchase additional licenses, especially for users that might only access the system once a week for 15 minutes!
- Currently, we are only using Procore to meet a specific customer need. It has not saved time but just makes information sharing efficiently.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Streamline financial reporting
