Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Operations utilize the software for construction administration. It allows everything to be in one location for efficiency and use.
- Submittals
- RFI's
- Photo and documentation storage.
- Checklists/Inspection Reports.
- Multiple submittal reviews by several parties and the ability to mark up the submittals in the Procore module.
- Financials need to be more advanced and available to collaborate with accounting systems.
- Executive Dashboards need more development.
- Buyout is not easy to track in Procore and it's a MAJOR part of our business—metrics to track should be a priority.
Procore was more user-friendly and easier to navigate, but we have found some flaws in the system since our use. Most importantly, we need the financials to talk and Procore doesn't have a great solution for that.
The cloud-based software has its own set of problems. We have recorded many "downtime" instances with Procore over the past couple of years. But, the benefit is certainly there with cloud-based software.
- Created some efficiencies for sure.
- Took a lot of time from our staff for implementation due to the process Procore has in place with over the phone or video chat help. Seems better if the set-up was done on-site.
- We are still weighing the ROI, as it's not a cheap software to run.
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Identify job site risks
- Simplify employee time tracking
Again, the financial module is lacking because the ability to talk to other accounting software is limited. Everything has to be done twice to utilize the financial tool, therefore, it's a huge waste for us.
